Roles and Responsibilities:
The agile business analyst is relied on for a variety of responsibilities that all surround communication, project velocity, facilitation, and education.

They key roles and responsibilities are:
· Gathering feedback from clients that are not able serve as 'on-site customers' in the agile process, and acting as that on-site customer for technical/sales engineers.
· Managing communication with the client as the project carries forward, and keeping a central point of communication for the project team to look to for priorities and guidance.
· Facilitating communication directly between engineers and the client when appropriate.
· Documenting requirements and priorities in a clear and understandable agile fashion, including visual relationships, flowcharts, and screenshots, to ensure the project work is maintainable, scalable, and interchangeable between developers.
· Working within our project management tools to ensure that statuses are always updated and communicated properly.
· Ensuring that clients feel heard by proacting communication with clients with active and inactive projects to ensure that any latent needs are brought to the surface and addressed.
· Teaching clients about the agile process methodologies employed by Digital Links at the beginning and throughout the duration of the project.

Key Challenges and Pitfalls:
Many typical challenges face a role like this in our organization:
· Taking a non-agile leadership role by telling engineers what to do, when to do it, and how to do.(Not viewing themselves as PART of the agile team.)
Not pro-acting communication with clients, and expecting them to stay on top of all communication. ·
Not using visual communication to describe key aspects of systems and feedback, in hopes that the verbal-descriptions will be understood correctly.
Trying to cut corners by not using the project management and documentation systems when times get tight.

Job Specification

The goal of the business analyst is multiple folds: ·
To ensure that sales engineer can spend as much time as possible without sacrificing understanding of a project. ·
To ensure that projects are resilient to staffing changes and rotation of engineers. ·
To ensure that clients are happy and abreast of changes and updates to their project. ·
To ensure that clients are heard, and feel as though their thoughts and comments are being listened to and executed on.
To this end, the agile business analyst becomes a master of requirements of each project, understanding the clients deeply.

Qualification:
BBA OR B.S. in Communication/ IT/ Science Engineering with minimum 1 year experience required in the same field
