Role Overview: 

As the Head of Product at ACE Money Transfer, you will lead the end-to-end product strategy, ensuring that ACE delivers smooth, scalable, and high-performing money transfer solutions. Your mission is to create products that are 10x better than alternatives—focusing on speed, reliability, security, and an exceptional user experience.
You will be responsible for defining, building, and optimizing ACE’s product ecosystem, including consumer, business, and platform products. Working closely with engineering, design, risk, compliance, analytics, and operations, you’ll drive innovation and execution across the entire product lifecycle.
This role is deeply product-oriented, requiring customer obsession, data-driven decision-making, and a strong technical foundation to create world-class remittance products.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and Execute the Product Vision

• Develop and execute a multi-year product strategy, ensuring ACE Money Transfer’s products remain best-in-class.
• Build a scalable product architecture that supports high transaction volumes across multiple corridors.
• Drive product differentiation by leveraging technology, automation, and data insights to enhance remittance services.

Lead Product Development and Innovation

• Own the product roadmap—prioritize features, improvements, and new products based on user needs, market trends, and business goals.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to create frictionless user experiences that optimize conversion, retention, and engagement.
• Innovate by exploring AI and automation to improve security, compliance, and transaction speed.
• Champion customer research and UX testing to ensure products are intuitive, localized, and high-impact.

Scale and Optimize ACE’s Money Transfer Products

• Enhance onboarding, KYC, and transaction flows to reduce friction and increase successful money transfers.
• Improve pricing, risk, and fraud detection systems to maintain compliance while maximizing efficiency.
• Build a smooth multi-channel experience, ensuring customers can send money via app, web, API, or partners with minimal effort.

Own Product Growth and Performance

• Define and track key product metrics (conversion, churn, transaction speed, cost-per-transfer, etc.) to continuously optimize performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, data science, and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and improve customer lifetime value.
• Experiment with pricing models, incentive programs, and loyalty features to boost adoption.

Lead and Scale the Product Team

• Hire, mentor, and develop a world-class team of product managers, UX designers, and data analysts.
• Establish best-in-class product management practices, including agile execution, rapid iteration, and user feedback loops.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer obsession within the product team.

Requirements:

You’re an ideal fit if you:

 

• Have built fintech products at scale – You’ve led products that served millions of customers or processed high transaction volumes.
• Have deep experience in money movement, payments, or financial products – Understanding of payment rails, FX, compliance, and fraud prevention is a plus.
• Are highly data-driven – You analyse user behaviour, A/B test relentlessly, and optimise flows based on KPIs.
• Are a strong technical product leader – You can collaborate effectively with engineers and understand how to build scalable financial systems.
• Have a track record of launching and iterating products – You’ve taken complex products from zero to one and beyond.
• Have led and scaled high-performing teams – from 5 to 20 product managers and specialists.
• Think first-principles and challenge the status quo – You’re constantly asking, “How can we make this 10x better?”
• Thrive in ambiguity and move fast – You make decisions with imperfect information and iterate quickly.

Experience: (internal)

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in the fintech, remittance, or financial services industry where offerings are primarily via Mobile Apps.
• Proven track record of managing app-based complex ,cross-functional product teams in a global, fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional certifications or qualifications in product management, UX/UI, or fintech are a plus.
