About the Role: WordPress Intern:
As a WordPress Intern , you will support the development team in building and maintaining WordPress-based websites. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in WordPress development, page builders, and front-end fundamentals. You will work closely with senior developers and gain exposure to real-world projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Work with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders ( Elementor, WP Bakery, DIVI ).
Convert basic designs and layouts into responsive WordPress pages.
Support the team in updating website content and layouts.
Identify and help fix basic front-end issues and bugs.
Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across browsers and devices.
Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements.
Learn and follow best practices for web development and documentation.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the team lead.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field.
Basic understanding of WordPress .
Familiarity with HTML, CSS , and basic JavaScript concepts.
Hands-on exposure to page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, or DIVI is a plus.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Basic understanding of responsive design principles.
Good communication skills with basic proficiency in English.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong interest in web development and WordPress technologies.
