We are looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Engineer (Web & Desktop Applications) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing scalable web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, business-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Work with ASP.NET MVC / Web API to build scalable web solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform Unit Testing / TDD
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and product teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Ensure application security, performance, and reliability
- Technical documentation, API docs, user manuals
- Ensure commitment to timelines and willingness to put in additional effort when required
- Ability to quickly understand ongoing workflows, requirements, and assigned tasks.
- Strong collaboration skills to effectively align with team members and seniors.
- Should be able to effectively leverage AI tools to improve productivity and drive value in production environments.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET, GraphQL, HotChocolate, Codegen, and Apollo.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Desktop Applications, Console Applications, Windows Services, Web APIs, and .NET Core.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with N-Tier and Onion Architecture patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Auth/Identity Server implementation and integration.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
- Strong logic building and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Git or other version control systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Entity Framework / Dapper
- Knowledge or experience with NoSQL DBs like mongo etc
- Knowledge of Azure or cloud-based deployments
- Exposure to Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
