Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in sales development, cold calling, and lead generation .
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers and generate qualified leads.
- Identify and research potential prospects through various channels.
- Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and buying potential.
- Schedule meetings and product/service demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, and customer interactions in the CRM.
- Conduct consistent follow-ups with prospects to move leads through the sales pipeline.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly lead-generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead-generation strategies.
- Stay informed about company products/services, industry trends, and competitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SDR, BDR, telesales, inside sales, or business development.
- Proven cold-calling experience is mandatory.
- Strong lead generation and prospecting experience .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident, persuasive, and target-oriented personality.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools is preferred.
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain consistent follow-ups.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- B2B sales experience.
- Experience with outbound sales campaigns.
- Appointment setting and lead qualification.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other prospecting platforms.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
