Softpers (Pvt.) Ltd. is a Lahore-based software development agency specializing in AI-driven applications, custom software, and automation services. We serve international clients across FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, Real Estate, and other industries. We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team.
Job Description
- Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients on LinkedIn and Upwork platforms
- Proposal Writing: Create compelling proposals and bids that highlight our technical capabilities and past successes
- Client Communication: Manage initial client conversations, understand requirements, and qualify leads
- Platform Management: Maintain and optimize company profiles on LinkedIn and Upwork to maximize visibility
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to accurately scope projects and prepare proposals
- Networking: Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on outreach activities, conversion rates, and pipeline status
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals on Upwork and/or LinkedIn
- Strong understanding of IT services, web development, and software solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience writing winning proposals and client-facing documentation
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and tech terminology
- Ability to discuss technical solutions and ask qualifying questions
- Familiarity with project estimation and scoping
- Knowledge of AI/ML services and modern web technologies is a plus
Soft Skills
- Excellent written communication and persuasive writing abilities
- Strategic thinking in bid selection and proposal customization
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Resilience and persistence in a competitive bidding environment
- Goal-oriented with focus on proposal-to-hire conversion rates
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and competitive drive

- Location: DHA Phase 3, XX Sector (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: 5 PM to 2 AM Tuesday to Saturday
