Your Role

We are looking for an experiencedAlgolia Search Expertwith strongMagento (Adobe Commerce)expertise to manage, optimize, and enhance our site search and personalization capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining Algolia integrations, ensuring seamless search performance and delivering personalized search experiences that improve user engagement and conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintainAlgolia Searchintegration withinMagento (Adobe Commerce).
• Optimize search results for performance, accuracy, and relevance.
• ManageAlgolia indices, facets, synonyms, filters, and ranking strategies.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to deliverpersonalized search and recommendation experiences.
• Design and implementsearch UI/UX enhancementsusing Algolia InstantSearch or custom widgets.
• Analyze search analytics and user behavior to identify optimization opportunities.
• ManageA/B testingand fine-tune relevance using Algolia’s dashboard and APIs.
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure smooth data synchronization between Magento and Algolia.
• Troubleshoot search-related issues and ensure high availability and performance.

What You Need

• Proven experience withAlgolia Searchintegration and configuration.
• Strong hands-on experience withMagento 2 (Adobe Commerce).
• Proficiency inJavaScript, PHP, andREST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience withAlgolia APIs,Indexing, andFrontend Search UI frameworks (InstantSearch.js / React InstantSearch).
• Strong understanding ofsearch ranking,faceting,synonyms, andrelevance tuning.
• Knowledge ofpersonalization, analytics, and A/B testingin Algolia.
• Familiarity witheCommerce performance optimizationandSEO best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience withAlgolia RecommendandAI-based personalization.
• Familiarity withBigQuery,GA4, or other analytics tools for search insights.
• Experience withheadless MagentoorPWA storefronts.
• Basic knowledge ofCI/CDandcloud deployment environments(Azure, AWS, GCP).
