Job Title: Senior UI Designer Location: Lahore or Kharian. Position Type: Full-Time Job Overview: Responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, developers, and product managers, to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Will be responsible for taking the lead on design projects, ensuring the vision aligns with brand strategy, and mentoring junior designers. Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and software applications.
- Design visual elements such as icons, graphics, and animations, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Design responsive designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the functionality and flow of the user interface elements.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative and modern design elements into projects.
- Prepare design specifications and guidelines for developers, ensuring the accurate implementation of the intended user interface.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and team members to measure satisfaction levels.
- Measure how well the designer incorporates feedback into design iterations. Adaptability and responsiveness to feedback are crucial for continuous improvement.
- Conduct design reviews to maintain high standards of design quality and usability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Oversee the full design process, from ideation and brainstorming to final execution and delivery.
- Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and analyze data to inform design decisions.
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with interactive prototypes using Figma, Invision, or similar tools.
- Ability to create seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Experience in building and maintaining design systems for consistency.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG guidelines and inclusive design practices.
- Ability to identify user pain points and provide intuitive design solutions.
- Working closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers.
- Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders.
- Designing with a focus on user needs, behaviours, and feedback.
- Ensuring pixel-perfect designs with a high level of precision.
- Staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- 3-5 years in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to feedback from various stakeholders.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving design trends and emerging technologies in the graphic design field.
- Proven expertise in creating visually stunning designs, with a deep understanding of color theory, composition, and layout principles.
- Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
