The Manager Oracle Developer coordinates workflow automation and reporting, driving efficiency through effective development and management of database systems. - Lead and manage a team of five Oracle developers, providing mentoring, performance feedback, and support.
- Design, develop, and optimize efficient PL/SQL code including stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
- Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports applications to facilitate efficient data entry and reporting.
- Oversee database performance tuning and query optimization to ensure the high availability and responsiveness of systems.
- Coordinate data migration and integration projects, ensuring accuracy and minimal downtime during transitions.
- Implement workflow automation tools and develop processes to streamline business operations and improve data processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly, minimizing impact on business functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, system configurations, and application workflows.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Review and ensure the quality of code and reports developed by team members, enforcing coding standards and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of the latest Oracle database technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system capabilities and efficiency.
