Job Opening: Senior Safety Specialist

As a Senior Safety Specialist, you will drive the identification, assessment, analysis, and solving of a broad spectrum of safety issues at your assigned worksite.

Responsibilities:

Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety programs.
Develop and present safety update training and orientations.
Conduct accident/injury investigations and document appropriately.
Maintain site safety records.
Ensure employee compliance with CAL OSHA Standards.
Ensure that all employees consistently follow established safety protocols.
Serve as a point of contact for employee safety inquiries, concerns, and/or suggestions.
Attend safety meetings, walks, and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks.
Educate employees on safety standards and expectations.
Stay current with industry best practices, safety trends, and regulatory requirements.
Identify risks and collaborate to identify mitigation solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
5+ years of occupational safety experience or relevant safety experience.
Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation (preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
Experience with strategic thinking, prioritization, and initiation of tasks.
Experience with proper writing, speaking, and presenting to all levels of employees.

Pay Range: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
