Qualification & Experience:

Minimum Graduation preferable in law with at least 1 year of experience.

Experience with LEA’s liaison, investigation, Surveys, report writing or theft operations, preferably in the energy or utility sector will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to assist FIR Cell in Planning and organizing joint operation against gas theft. They are required to conduct operation, which involves Liaison with Police and LEA’s, and relevant departments, collection of information/evidences, locating and capturing case properties, lodging FIR as complainant against any culprit identified during joint operations. Preparing facts sheets required for statements in court proceeding, maintain court diary and other relevant records. This position also required to assist in surveys and visits to customer and report preparation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in preparing legal correspondence and other documentation as instructed by senior management.
Assist in arranging security briefings for the staff regarding personal safety precautions during counter gas theft operations and emergency situations.
Highlight key points in the gas theft investigation reports for the supervisor so that joint operation against the offenders involved in gas theft could be initiated.
Assist in fulfilling the requirements to file a police report against the offender.
Assist in implementing policies and procedures to handle counter gas theft operations.
Assist in arranging transport facilities for SSGC employees to attend court hearings and provide other support with respect to necessary documentary evidence to substantiate SSGC’s case.
Assist in implementation of policies to eliminate corruption and bribery through identifying and penalizing officials involved in malpractices relating to gas theft.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
Accompany all raids conducted by SS & CGTO.
Collection of case/theft related evidences.
Drafting of Legal Statements.
To lodge FIR pertaining to raids on gas theft & other related issues.
Preparation of fact sheets for all raids required for statement in court.
Appear in the courts as complainant/witness in connection with FIR & related issues.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
Undertake any other task assigned by the management.
